Quiet Company at Lola’s Saloon on April 12, 2014
It had been a while since I last saw Quiet Company as they had taken some time off to record their upcoming album “Transgressor” and dominate SXSW again, but they’re hitting the road again with new members Evan Smoker on drums and Bill Gryta on keys. The new stuff has a lot more bite to the music and is, as always, led by Muse’s great material.
They’ve also put a little money into the production value of their shows, having bought their own lighting rig (currently being run by manager Paul Osbon). It made for some interesting shots (and a lot of experimenting on my part to work out how to shoot the constantly changing colors and brightness).
